Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Watseka Warriors (Watseka, IL) and the host Donovan Wildcats (Donovan, IL), saw Watseka's basketball squad hold off Donovan by a count of 55-48.

With the victory, Watseka upgrades its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Warriors host Georgetown-Ridge Farm (Georgetown, IL) to play the Buffaloes in a Vermilion Valley challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Buffaloes come into the challenge with a record of 4-14.
