January 6, 2024: Drummond, OK 73735 The Jones Longhorns (Jones, OK) basketball nipped the host Drummond Bulldogs (Drummond, OK), 54-50 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Longhorns (7-3) will now prepare for their test against Tecumseh (Tecumseh, OK). The Savages go into the Freelance test with a 2-8 record. In their last test, Tecumseh was tipped by Verdigris (Claremore, OK), 81-69, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 14-2 record. They play next when they travel to Oklahoma Bible for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 9. Drummond will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 58-33 non-league loss to Watonga (Watonga, OK). The Trojans record now stands at 3-7.
