The Lowry Buckaroos basketball team (Winnemucca, NV), was routed 56-33 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Elko Indians (Elko, NV)

The Indians now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fernley for a 3A Northern - East battle on Friday, January 12. Elko will battle a Vaqueros team coming off a 55-37 non-league win over South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA). The Vaqueros record now stands at 14-2.

The Buckaroos (9-7) will now prepare for their battle against Churchill County (Fallon, NV). The Greenwave come into the 3A Northern - East battle with a 8-9 record. In their last battle, Churchill County trounced Spring Creek (Spring Creek, NV), 70-67, in a league battle.
