Riverside Generals (Jacksonville, FL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Fletcher Senators (Neptune Beach, FL), 52-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Riverside upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Generals host Sandalwood (Jacksonville, FL) to play the Saints in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Saints go into the bout with a record of 4-8. Sandalwood lost 59-49 in their recent non-league bout against Ribault (Jacksonville, FL)

Next up, the Senators play the Harvest Community Warriors (Jacksonville, FL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 11. Fletcher will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 6-10 record after their 77-58 non-league loss to St. Johns Country Day (Orange Park, FL).
