Delaware High School Basketball - St. Mark's thwarts Laurel
January 6, 2024: Wilmington, DE 19808 The St. Mark's Spartans (Wilmington, DE) basketball knocked off the visiting Laurel Bulldogs (Laurel, DE), 67-54 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Spartans (7-1) will now prepare for their test against Christiana (Newark, DE). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Christiana went down by Delaware Military Academy (Wilmington, DE), 65-47, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Sussex Academy for a Henlopen - Southern test on Tuesday, January 9. Laurel will encounter a Seahawks squad coming off a 17-13 league loss to Lake Forest (Felton, DE). The Seahawks record now stands at 0-7.
