January 6, 2024: Inkster, ND 58244 Midway/Minto Mustangs (Inkster, ND) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] Mustangs (Wishek, ND), 54-44 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Midway/Minto upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Mustangs host Warwick (Warwick, ND) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Monday, January 8. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 1-7. Warwick lost 62-41 in their recent non-league bout against Larimore (Larimore, ND)
Next up, the Mustangs play the Herreid/Selby Wolverines (Herreid, SD) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 8. South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Wolverines enter the game with a 2-5 record after their 53-51 non-league win over Langford (Langford, SD).
