Oregon High School Basketball - Santiam Christian overwhelmed by Western Christian
January 6, 2024: Corvallis, OR 97330 The Western Christian Pioneers basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the host Santiam Christian Eagles to 23 in the Pioneers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Pioneers now sport a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Santiam for a 2A Tri-River contest on Tuesday, January 9. Western Christian will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 47-46 league loss to Salem Academy (Salem, OR). The Wolverines record now stands at 6-5.
The Eagles (0-12) will now prepare for their contest against Scio (Scio, OR). The Loggers come into the 3A PacWest contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Scio triumphed over Amity (Amity, OR), 73-59, in a league contest.
