The Tri-City Tornadoes basketball team (Buffalo, IL), was routed 68-39 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host St. Thomas More Sabers (Champaign, IL)

The Sabers now sport a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Olympia for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 9. St. Thomas More will battle a Spartans team coming off a 59-44 non-league loss to Tri-Valley (Downs, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 4-12.

The Tornadoes (0-15) will now prepare for their battle against Athens (Athens, IL). The Warriors come into the non-league battle with a 10-5 record. In their last battle, Athens was routed by Illini Bluffs (Glasford, IL), 68-47, in a league battle.
