Oregon High School Basketball - Stanfield holds off Weston-McEwen
January 6, 2024: Stanfield, OR 97875 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Stanfield Tigers (Stanfield, OR) and the visiting Weston-McEwen TigerScots (Athena, OR), saw Stanfield's basketball squad hold off Weston-McEwen by a tally of 63-56.
With the victory, Stanfield improves its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Grant Union (John Day, OR) to confront the Prospectors in a 2A Blue Mountain challenge on Friday, January 12. The Prospectors come into the challenge with a record of 11-4.
Next up, the TigerScots confront the Irrigon Knights (Irrigon, OR) in a 2A Blue Mountain challenge, on Friday, January 12. Weston-McEwen will attempt to improve on its 7-10 season record.
