Oklahoma High School Basketball - Stroud can't hold off Wilburton
January 6, 2024: Stroud, OK 74079 The Wilburton Diggers basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Stroud Tigers to 43 in the Diggers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Diggers now sport a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hartshorne for a Black Diamond contest on Tuesday, January 9. Wilburton will battle a Miners team coming off a 54-48 league win over Heavener (Heavener, OK). The Miners record now stands at 5-5.
The Tigers (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Meeker (Meeker, OK). The Bulldogs enter the 66 contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Meeker was nudged by Stuart (Stuart, OK), 74-57, in a non-league contest.
