January 6, 2024: Valley City, ND 58072 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Wyndmere/Lidgerwood Warbirds (Wyndmere, ND) and the host Valley City Hi-Liners (Valley City, ND), saw Wyndmere/Lidgerwood's basketball squad hold off Valley City by a tally of 57-50.
With the victory, Wyndmere/Lidgerwood improves its record to 2-5 on the campaign. The Warbirds travel to Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah] (Rosholt, SD) to confront the Tigers in a B District 1 challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 1-5. Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah] lost 64-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Florence/Henry (Florence, SD)
Next up, the Hi-Liners confront the Oak Grove Lutheran Grovers (Fargo, ND) in a A Region 1 challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Valley City will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record.
