Maine High School Basketball - Poland nudges Biddeford
January 6, 2024: Poland, ME 04274 Poland Knights (Poland, ME) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Biddeford Tigers (Biddeford, ME), 27-24 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Poland upgrades its record to 3-5 on the season. The Knights host Mountain Valley (Rumford, ME) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 2-5. Mountain Valley won 48-39 in their recent league bout against Cape Elizabeth (Cape Elizabeth, ME)
Next up, the Tigers clash with the Massabesic Mustangs (Waterboro, ME) in a AA South bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Biddeford will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 68-27 league loss to Gorham (Gorham, ME).
