The Bishop O'Dowd Dragons (Oakland, CA) basketball nipped the host St. Mary's Rams (Stockton, CA), 45-42 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Dragons (8-3) will now prepare for their outing against Mt. Eden (Hayward, CA). The Monarchs go into the non-league outing with a 3-6 record. In their last outing, Mt. Eden held off Arroyo (San Lorenzo, CA), 60-43, in a league outing.

The Rams now hold a 11-5 record. They play next when they travel to Perry for a non-league outing on Friday, January 12. St. Mary's will clash with a Pumas squad coming off a 89-46 league win over Basha (Chandler, AZ). The Pumas record now stands at 9-9.
