California High School Basketball - Bravo can't hold off Sylmar

January 6, 2024: Los Angeles, CA 90033

The Sylmar Spartans basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the host Bravo Knights to 40 in the Spartans non-league win on Saturday.

With the win, Sylmar upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Spartans travel to Van Nuys (Van Nuys, CA) to play the Wolves in a Valley Mission bout on Wednesday, January 10. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 9-1. Van Nuys won 72-25 in their recent league bout against Reseda (Reseda, CA)

Next up, the Knights play the Franklin Panthers (Los Angeles, CA) in a Northern bout, on Wednesday, January 10. Bravo will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 11-2 record after their 37-26 league loss to Eagle Rock (Los Angeles, CA).
