Michigan High School Basketball - Grand Ledge fells Brighton
January 6, 2024: Grand Ledge, MI 48837 Grand Ledge Comets (Grand Ledge, MI) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Brighton Bulldogs (Brighton, MI), 46-37 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Grand Ledge upgrades its record to 2-7 on the season. The Comets travel to Williamston (Williamston, MI) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Williamston lost 38-35 in their recent non-league bout against Chelsea (Chelsea, MI)
Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Northville Mustangs (Northville, MI) in a Kensington Lakes - West bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Brighton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 52-50 league loss to Salem (Canton, MI).
