January 6, 2024: Lafayette, LA 70508 The Covington Lions (Covington, LA) basketball crushed the host Westminster Christian Academy (Lafayette, LA), 50-8 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Lions (2-10) will now prepare for their test against Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy (Kenner, LA). The Swamp Owls go into the non-league test with a 4-13 record. In their last test, Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy was trounced by Varnado (Angie, LA), 46-41, in a non-league test.
The now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to St. Edmund for a non-league test on Monday, January 15.
