South Dakota High School Basketball - Custer ripped by Milbank
January 6, 2024: Milbank, SD 57252 The Milbank Bulldogs basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Custer Wildcats to 31 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tiospa Zina for a A Region 1 contest on Tuesday, January 9. Milbank will battle a Wambdi team coming off a 77-23 non-league loss to Hamlin (Hayti, SD). The Wambdi record now stands at 0-7.
The Wildcats (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against More (Rapid City, SD). The Cavaliers enter the A Region 8 contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, More was routed by Minot (Minot, ND), 51-31, in a non-league contest.
