North Carolina High School Basketball - Forsyth Home Educators overwhelms Phoenix Academy
January 6, 2024: High Point, NC 27265 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Forsyth Home Educators Hawks (Winston-Salem, NC) and the host Phoenix Academy Firebirds (High Point, NC), saw Forsyth Home Educators's basketball squad wallop Phoenix Academy by a tally of 56-18.
With the victory, Forsyth Home Educators improves its record to 21-3 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Lee Park Prep (Monroe, NC) to confront the Knights in a Metro Area challenge on Monday, January 8. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 11-3. Lee Park Prep won 54-51 in their recent non-league test against Westminster Catawba Christian (Rock Hill, SC)
The Firebirds now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Forsyth Home Educators for a non-league test on Thursday, January 11. Phoenix Academy will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 63-12 league win over Lee Park Prep (Monroe, NC). The Hawks record now stands at 22-3.
