Covenant Christian Academy Lions (Houma, LA) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Walker Wildcats (Walker, LA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lions confront the Plaquemine Green Devils (Plaquemine, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Covenant Christian Academy will attempt to move on its 6-7 season record. The Green Devils enter the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 8-0 league loss to Liberty Magnet (Baton Rouge, LA).

The Wildcats now possess a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Live Oak for a Division I District 4 challenge on Tuesday, January 9.
