January 6, 2024: Santa Fe, NM 87505 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Santa Fe Demons (Santa Fe, NM) and the visiting Clovis Wildcats (Clovis, NM), saw Santa Fe's basketball squad hold off Clovis by a count of 48-44.
With the victory, Santa Fe upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Demons travel to Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM) to play the Rams in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 11. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 7-2. Rio Rancho lost 38-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Portales Rams (Portales, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 12. Clovis will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 50-24 non-league loss to Moriarty (Moriarty, NM).
