Washington High School Basketball - Mercer Island crushes Northwest Yeshiva
January 6, 2024: Mercer Island, WA 98040 Mercer Island Islanders (Mercer Island, WA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Northwest Yeshiva Lions (Mercer Island, WA), 70-40 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Mercer Island upgrades its record to 4-6 on the season. The Islanders host Bellevue (Bellevue, WA) to clash with the Wolverines in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 6-2. Bellevue won 64-22 in their recent non-league bout against Juanita (Kirkland, WA)
Next up, the Lions clash with the Non JV Opponent (, ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 8. Northwest Yeshiva will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The go into the bout with a 62-83 record after their 50-19 non-league win over Bear Creek (Redmond, WA).
