Colorado High School Basketball - Ponderosa nudges Northfield
January 6, 2024: Parker, CO 80134 Ponderosa Mustangs (Parker, CO) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Northfield Nighthawks (Denver, CO), 56-50 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Ponderosa upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Mustangs host Douglas County (Castle Rock, CO) to clash with the Huskies in a bout on Friday, January 12. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Douglas County won 98-8 in their recent non-league bout against Vista Ridge (Colorado Springs, CO)
Next up, the Nighthawks clash with the Westminster Wolves (Westminster, CO) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 10. Northfield will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 68-44 non-league win over Adams City (Commerce City, CO).
