Texas High School Soccer - Chavez nudges Cypress Park
January 6, 2024: Cypress, TX 77433 Chavez Lobos (Houston, TX) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Cypress Park Tigers (Cypress, TX), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Lobos confront the Ball Tornadoes (Galveston, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Chavez will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Tornadoes enter the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Lee (Baytown, TX).
The Tigers now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Spring for a non-league challenge on Friday, January 12.
