South Carolina High School Basketball - Buford can't hold off McBee

McBee Panthers (McBee, SC) supporters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Buford Yellow Jackets (Lancaster, SC), 61-54 in a non-league match.

With the victory, McBee advances its record to 10-3 on the year. The Panthers travel to Great Falls (Great Falls, SC) to face the Red Devils in a A Region 2 match on Tuesday, January 7. The Red Devils enter the match with a record of 6-3. Great Falls lost 42-35 in their recent non-league match against Andrew Jackson (Kershaw, SC)

The Yellow Jackets now own a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Andrew Jackson for a AA Region 4 match on Thursday, January 9. Buford will face a Volunteers squad coming off a 54-38 league win over York Prep (Rock Hill, SC). The Volunteers record now stands at 6-5.
