New York High School Basketball - Greece Athena nips University Prep Charter
January 6, 2025: Bronx, NY 10455 In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Greece Athena Trojans basketball team scored a close 79-72 win over the University Prep Charter Gator.
The Trojans (5-0) will now prepare for their contest against Honeoye Falls-Lima (Honeoye Falls, NY). The Cougars come into the non-league contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Honeoye Falls-Lima edged Edison Tech (Rochester, NY), 67-35, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Gator battle the Monroe/School Without Walls Redjackets (Rochester, NY) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 7. University Prep Charter will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record.
