January 6, 2025: Hood River, OR 97031 Wilsonville Wildcats (Wilsonville, OR) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Hood River Valley Eagles (Hood River, OR), 70-36 in a league match.
With the victory, Wilsonville upgrades its record to 7-2 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Putnam (Milwaukie, OR) to face the Kingsmen in a 5A Northwest Oregon match on Friday, January 10. The Kingsmen enter the match with a record of 2-5. Putnam won 66-61 in their recent league match against Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts (Milwaukie, OR)
The Eagles now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hillsboro for a 5A Northwest Oregon match on Wednesday, January 8. Hood River Valley will face a Spartans squad coming off a 71-57 league loss to Parkrose (Portland, OR). The Spartans record now stands at 4-6.
