January 6, 2025: Bellingham, WA 98226 Lynden Christian Lyncs (Lynden, WA) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Meridian Trojans (Bellingham, WA), 71-57 in a league match.
With the victory, Lynden Christian upgrades its record to 10-1 on the year. The Lyncs host Blaine (Blaine, WA) to face the Borderites in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest match on Friday, January 10. The Borderites enter the match with a record of 2-7. Blaine lost 59-40 in their recent league match against Mt. Baker (Deming, WA)
The Trojans now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Anacortes for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest match on Thursday, January 9. Meridian will face a Seahawks squad coming off a 48-23 league win over Burlington-Edison (Burlington, WA). The Seahawks record now stands at 7-1.
