In Monday's non-league contest, the host Union Titans basketball team scored a close 56-53 win over the Mountain View Thunder.

The Titans (9-2) will now prepare for their contest against Camas (Camas, WA). The Papermakers come into the 4A Greater St. Helens contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Camas edged Evergreen (Vancouver, WA), 77-47, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Thunder battle the Heritage Timberwolves (Vancouver, WA) in a 3A Greater St. Helens contest, on Wednesday, January 8. Mountain View will attempt to better on its 7-4 season record. The Timberwolves come into the contest with a 4-7 record after their 77-46 non-league loss to Skyview (Vancouver, WA).
