Alabama High School Basketball - Northside Methodist Academy holds off Pike Liberal Arts
January 6, 2025: Troy, AL 36081 In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Northside Methodist Academy Knights basketball team scored a close 55-48 triumph over the Pike Liberal Arts Patriots.
The Knights (4-16) will now prepare for their contest against Houston Academy (Dothan, AL). The Raiders go into the 3A Area 3 contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Houston Academy was tipped by Providence Christian (Dothan, AL), 71-58, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Patriots confront the Zion Chapel Rebels (Jack, AL) in a 2A Area 3 contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Pike Liberal Arts will attempt to better on its 6-13 season record. The Rebels go into the contest with a 5-15 record after their 54-43 non-league win over Kinston (Kinston, AL).
