North Carolina High School Basketball - River Mill toppled by Triangle Math & Science

Triangle Math & Science Tigers (Apex, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting River Mill Jaguars (Graham, NC), 55-36 in a league match.

With the victory, Triangle Math & Science upgrades its record to 2-10 on the year. The Tigers travel to Chatham Charter (Siler City, NC) to face the Knights in a 1A Central Tar Heel match on Tuesday, January 7. The Knights enter the match with a record of 9-7. Chatham Charter lost 40-39 in their recent non-league match against Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC)

The Jaguars now sport a 1-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southern Wake Academy for a 1A Central Tar Heel match on Friday, January 10. River Mill will face a Lions squad coming off a 83-14 league win over Ascend Leadership (Sanford, NC). The Lions record now stands at 13-3.
