January 6, 2025: Lexington, SC 29072 The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Catawba Ridge Copperheads (Fort Mill, SC) and the host Lexington Wildcats (Lexington, SC), observed Catawba Ridge's basketball team overwhelm Lexington by a score of 45-18.
The Copperheads (9-4) will now prepare for their challenge against South Point (Belmont, NC). The Red Raiders come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, South Point was routed by Catawba Ridge (Fort Mill, SC), 35-28, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Wildcats encounter the Irmo Yellow Jackets (Columbia, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 9. Lexington will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Yellow Jackets come into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 52-22 non-league win over Dreher (Columbia, SC).
