January 6, 2025: Cumberland, RI 02864 Mt. Pleasant Kilties (Providence, RI) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Cumberland Clippers (Cumberland, RI), 69-59 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Mt. Pleasant advances its record to 1-2 on the year. The Kilties travel to Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI) to meet the Patriots in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 14. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 3-0.
The Clippers now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Barrington for a non-league match on Thursday, January 9. Cumberland will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 58-21 non-league win over Cranston East (Cranston, RI). The Eagles record now stands at 1-2.
