New York High School Basketball - Beacon defeats Haldane
January 6, 2025: Beacon, NY 12508 The Beacon Bulldogs (Beacon, NY) basketball were winner over the visiting Haldane Blue Devils (Cold Spring, NY), 42-26 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Bulldogs now possess a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Fallsburg for a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 8. Beacon will play a Comets team coming off a 30-15 league loss to Liberty (Liberty, NY). The Comets record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Haldane falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Blue devils host Hastings (Hastings on Hudson, NY) to play the Yellow Jackets in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 9. The Yellow Jackets go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Hastings lost 47-27 in their recent non-league bout against Westlake (Thornwood, NY)
