January 6, 2025: Wetumka, OK 74883 Stuart Hornets (Stuart, OK) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Wetumka Chieftains (Wetumka, OK), 53-41 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Stuart advances its record to 5-6 on the year. The Hornets host Maud (Maud, OK) to face the Tigers in a non-league match on Thursday, January 9. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 3-6. Maud lost 98-33 in their recent non-league match against Allen (Allen, OK)
The Chieftains now own a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Lima for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 7. Wetumka will face a Falcons squad coming off a 49-29 non-league loss to Konawa (Konawa, OK). The Falcons record now stands at 5-7.
