California High School Soccer - Paraclete held off by Bishop Montgomery
January 6, 2025: Torrance, CA 90503 In Monday's league contest, the Bishop Montgomery Knights (Torrance, CA) soccer team edged the visiting Paraclete Spirits (Lancaster, CA), by a tally of 5-4.
Next, the Knights face the St. Anthony Saints (Long Beach, CA) in a Camino Real contest, on Wednesday, January 8. Bishop Montgomery will attempt to advance on its 7-5 season record. The Saints enter the contest with a 2-2 record after their 3-1 league win over St. Genevieve (Panorama City, CA).
The Spirits (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs, CA). The Swordsmen enter the Camino Real contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, St. Paul held off Verbum Dei Jesuit (Los Angeles, CA), 6-0, in a league contest.
