January 6, 2025: Spring Valley, CA 91977 Escondido Cougars (Escondido, CA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Mount Miguel Matadors (Spring Valley, CA), 4-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Escondido moves its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Cougars host Bonita Vista (Chula Vista, CA) to clash with the Barons in a non-league test on Wednesday, January 8. The Barons come into the test with a record of 4-3. Bonita Vista lost 4-3 in their recent non-league test against Otay Ranch (Chula Vista, CA)
The Matadors now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Mira Mesa for a non-league test on Saturday, January 11.
