Highland Fighting Scots (Marengo, OH) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Crestview Cougars (Ashland, OH), 55-54 in a non-league contest.

The Fighting Scots (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Pleasant (Marion, OH). The Spartans come into the Mid-Ohio - Red contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Pleasant edged Wynford (Bucyrus, OH), 65-47, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the Western Reserve Roughriders (Collins, OH) in a Firelands contest, on Friday, January 9. Crestview will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record.
