January 6, 2026: Salem, OR 97304 The Western Christian Pioneers basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting Oakland Oakers to 50 in the Pioneers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Pioneers now possess a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Sheridan for a 2A Tri-River game on Wednesday, January 7.
With the loss, Oakland falls to 9-2 on the campaign. The Oakers host Pleasant Hill (Pleasant Hill, OR) to play the Billies in a non-league game on Friday, January 9.
