Charlo Vikings (Charlo, MT) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Granite Prospectors (Philipsburg, MT), 66-40 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Charlo upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Arlee (Arlee, MT) to play the Scarlet Warriors in a C District 14 bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Scarlet Warriors come into the bout with a record of 3-5. Arlee lost 52-44 in their recent league bout against Noxon (Noxon, MT)

Next up, the Prospectors play the Victor Pirates (Victor, MT) in a C District 13 bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Granite will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Pirates come into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 53-27 league win over Valley Christian (Missoula, MT).
