Iowa High School Basketball - Baxter knocked off by Dunkerton
January 7, 2022: Baxter, IA The Dunkerton Raiders basketball team scored 70 points and held the host Baxter to 56 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Friday.
The Raiders now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alburnett for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 8. Dunkerton will battle a Pirates team coming off a 51-50 league loss to Edgewood-Colesburg (Edgewood, IA). The Pirates record now stands at 6-3.
The (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Saydel (Des Moines, IA). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Saydel was defeated by Greene County (Jefferson, IA), 62-61, in a league contest.
