Georgia High School Basketball - Savannah Classical Academy tops First Preparatory Christian Academy
January 7, 2022: Savannah, GA 31401 Savannah Classical Academy Spartans (Savannah, GA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting First Preparatory Christian Academy Highlanders (Hinesville, GA), 58-46 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Savannah Classical Academy upgrades its record to 2-9 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Screven County (Sylvania, GA) to play the Gamecocks in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 12. The Gamecocks come into the bout with a record of 5-7. Screven County lost 69-28 in their recent league bout against Bryan County (Pembroke, GA)
Next up, the Highlanders play the Twiggs Academy Trojans (Jeffersonville, GA) in a GISA AA Region 2 bout, on Friday, January 14. First Preparatory Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Trojans come into the bout with a 8-6 record after their 72-48 league loss to Robert Toombs Christian Academy (Lyons, GA).
