Florida High School Basketball - Mount Dora Christian Academy crushes Halifax Academy
January 7, 2022: Mount Dora, FL 32757 Mount Dora Christian Academy Bulldogs (Mount Dora, FL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Halifax Academy Knights (Daytona Beach, FL), 75-27 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Mount Dora Christian Academy upgrades its record to 12-1 on the season. The Bulldogs host University (Orange City, FL) to clash with the Titans in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 8. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 5-7. University won 60-55 in their recent non-league bout against Lyman (Longwood, FL)
Next up, the Knights clash with the Harvest Community Warriors (Jacksonville, FL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 11. Halifax Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 69-48 non-league loss to Parsons Christian Academy (Jacksonville, FL).
