Jim Ned Indians (Tuscola, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Wall Hawks (Wall, TX), 55-49 in a league bout.

With the win, Jim Ned upgrades its record to 15-8 on the season. The Indians travel to Merkel (Merkel, TX) to clash with the Badgers in a 3A Region I District 6 bout on Tuesday, January 11. The Badgers go into the bout with a record of 15-6. Merkel won 69-22 in their recent league bout against Grape Creek (San Angelo, TX)

Next up, the Hawks clash with the Clyde Bulldogs (Clyde, TX) in a 3A Region I District 6 bout, on Tuesday, January 11. Wall will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 15-9 record after their 56-55 league loss to San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy (San Angelo, TX).
