Georgia High School Basketball - Lowndes crushes Tift County

January 7, 2022: Tifton, GA 31794

Lowndes Vikings (Valdosta, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Tift County Blue Devils (Tifton, GA), 59-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Lowndes upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Vikings host Thomasville (Thomasville, GA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 12. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 11-2.

Next up, the Blue Devils play the Westover Patriots (Albany, GA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 8. Tift County will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 12-0 record after their 44-43 league win over Dougherty (Albany, GA).
