January 7, 2022: Springfield, OR 97478 Thurston Colts (Springfield, OR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting McNary Celtics (Keizer, OR), 55-37 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Thurston upgrades its record to 1-6 on the season. The Colts host North Eugene (Eugene, OR) to clash with the Highlanders in a 5A Midwestern bout on Tuesday, January 11. The Highlanders go into the bout with a record of 4-4. North Eugene won 49-41 in their recent non-league bout against Sheldon (Eugene, OR)
Next up, the Celtics clash with the Sheldon Irish (Eugene, OR) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 7. McNary will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record.
