The Mitchell Tigers basketball team (Mitchell, NE), was overwhelmed 68-43 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Scottsbluff Bearcats (Scottsbluff, NE)

The Bearcats now possess a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ogallala for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 11. Scottsbluff will confront a Indians team coming off a 63-49 non-league win over Cozad (Cozad, NE). The Indians record now stands at 10-1.

The Tigers (3-9) will now prepare for their battle against Chadron (Chadron, NE). The Cardinals come into the C1 District 12 battle with a 7-4 record. In their last battle, Chadron trounced Belle Fourche (Belle Fourche, SD), 46-42, in a non-league battle.
