Arizona High School Basketball - Bagdad overwhelms Antelope
January 7, 2022: Bagdad, AZ 86321 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Bagdad Sultans (Bagdad, AZ) and the visiting Antelope Rams (Wellton, AZ), saw Bagdad's basketball squad wallop Antelope by a tally of 40-19.
With the victory, Bagdad improves its record to 14-6 on the campaign. The Sultans host Mohave Accelerated (Bullhead City, AZ) to play the Patriots in a 1A West challenge on Tuesday, January 11. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 4-4. Mohave Accelerated lost 60-22 in their recent non-league challenge against Leading Edge Academy - GEC (Gilbert, AZ)
Next up, the Rams play the Phoenix Day School for the Deaf Roadrunners (Phoenix, AZ) in a 1A West challenge, on Tuesday, January 11. Antelope will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record. The Roadrunners come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 39-9 league loss to Salome (Salome, AZ).
