Stigler Panthers (Stigler, OK) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Central Tigers (Sallisaw, OK), 58-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Stigler upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Panthers travel to Talihina (Talihina, OK) to clash with the Golden Tigers in a Black Diamond bout on Tuesday, January 11. The Golden Tigers go into the bout with a record of 0-8. Talihina lost 67-22 in their recent league bout against Pocola (Pocola, OK)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Warner Eagles (Warner, OK) in a Big Eight bout, on Friday, January 14. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record.
