The Cody-Kilgore Cowboys/Cowgirls basketball team (Cody, NE), was overwhelmed 47-14 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting North Central Knights (Bassett, NE)

The Knights now possess a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elmwood-Murdock for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 8. North Central will battle a Knights team coming off a 55-20 non-league win over Weeping Water (Weeping Water, NE). The Knights record now stands at 11-0.

The Cowboys/Cowgirls (0-7) will now prepare for their battle against Sandhills Valley (Stapleton, NE). The Mavericks come into the non-league battle with a 2-8 record. In their last battle, Sandhills Valley trounced Creek Valley (Chappell, NE), 52-32, in a non-league battle.
