The Grant Tigers basketball team (Grant, MI), was nudged 45-42 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Tri County Area Vikings (Howard City, MI)

The Vikings now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Newaygo for a Central State battle on Tuesday, January 11. Tri County Area will battle a Lions team coming off a 68-32 league win over Fremont (Fremont, MI). The Lions record now stands at 6-1.

The Tigers (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Fremont (Fremont, MI). The Packers come into the Central State battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Fremont was nudged by Newaygo (Newaygo, MI), 68-32, in a league battle.
